Leo club of Horana Metro

It has been ten years since the Leo club of Horana Metro was formed. Within these ten years Leos of Leo club of Horana Metro has been able to serve the community in many ways. During these ten years all the Leos in the club has learnt a lot as individuals which has helped them to brighten their future.

Leo club of Horana Metro, one of the most appreciated Leo clubs in the Leo district 306 A was deactivated in its 6th year due to some personal reasons of Leos and the club was reactivated in the year 2009 after a very long silence of 4 years with the help of some old Leos. Leo LAKSRI gave leadership to the Leo club of Horana Metro in the year 2009/2010, during this year Leo club of Horana Metro mainly focused on many projects such as sticker selling continuous project, Leo smashes, car wash, projects for differently abled women, medical campaign, etc...

In the reforming year as a club we didn’t have so much ambition other than establishing the club perfectly. But we could achieve more than we expected. It’s the most valuable gift we could get after leoistick year. It should be noted that Leo club of Horana Metro was supported by the big tree lions club of Horana Metro throughout the period of 11 years.

The Leos of Horana Metro share a very special relationship with its parent lions club, Lion club of Horana Metro which we cannot express in words.
