Academy of Adventure
Belihuloya
Academy of Adventure is a catalyst for personal growth and change. While we are clear about our basic values and objectives, we are not offering a magic formula with uniformed results, neither is it an attempt to indoctrinate or dogmatize. Instead, we design and conduct courses in ways that cause our trainees to think, act, reflect and accept responsibility. To do this with a keen sense of veracity, the Academy of Adventure provides just the right amount of support, guidance and instructions to ensure that the learning process is healthy, safe and respectful of individual differences.
Academy of Adventure facilitators care about people. They are well trained and actively interested in both the power of the immediate learning that takes place in a course and in the larger social and spiritual implications of Outward Bound values.

Academy of Adventure’s Objective
To develop leadership & characters qualities using the outdoors as a training medium

Methodology
The Outward Bound methodology has been adapted by the AOA when conducting the programs of this nature. Outward bound of course is an adventure. It is about dealing with unknown. It’s about meeting challenges. And it’s about learning – learning about yourself, about others, most of all about your potential. It is about developing character, values, mental fortitude and realizing ones potentials to the maximum.
